Create a zip file

  1. Open the PicoZip program.
  2. Click the New icon from the toolbar or click File > New Archive from the top menu or simply press CTRL N from your keyboard.
  3. Give your new archive a name and click Create.
  4. On the Add window, you can add file(s) into your new archive, then click Add button when you finish. You can also add file(s) by drag-and-drop file(s) from your Window Explorer to your newly created archive.
  5. When you finish adding file(s), you may close your newly created archive by click on File > Close Archive from the top menu.

Extract a zip file

  1. Open the PicoZip program.
  2. Click the Open icon from the toolbar or click File > Open Archive from the top menu or simply press CTRL O from your keyboard.
  3. On the Open Archive window, select the archive and click Open button.
  4. With the archive opened:
    • You can extract the whole files on the archive by click on the Extract button on the toolbar or click Actions > Extract files to... from the top menu or simply press CTRL E from your keyboard
    • You can extract selected file(s) on the archive by selecting the file(s) and then click on the Extract button on the toolbar or click Actions > Extract files to... from the top menu or simply press CTRL E from your keyboard
